A new concept of entertainment is coming to WNY

In the late 1800s and early 1900s, people attended events where authors, historians, professors, or scientists gave talks about their books, history, new developments, and social issues. Salons were held in private homes where artists, intellectuals, and influential people met to discuss art, politics, philosophy, and other topics. A soiree was an elegant, intimate evening social gathering featuring sophisticated, stylish, and relaxed mingling and conversation, with food and drinks served at a home or special venue.
